Where do I begin?

All weddings are great but this one just had that extra edge. An Anglo Irish wedding not far from me in Drogheda and on to one my favourite villages on the east coast, in Slane, County Meath.

This had all the ingredients for a perfect day and a perfect day it was. In the midst of a heatwave our bride wed her beloved in the stunning setting of St Mary’s Church in Drogheda, County Louth and then on to the Conyngham arms in Slane. Not only were M&S to wed on this day but England were to bring football home against Sweden……. Spirits were high, excitement was overwhelming and my good friend Laura Colgan got the party rocking in true Laura style whilst myself and my favourite photographer to work with, Brian Mulligan made sure to capture every second of it.

I’ve never witnessed a wedding where the guests are giving it socks dancing at 4pm at a reception. A sure indication that this was special. I’m proud to present a snapshot of the day below. Enjoy!
